Girl group Blackpink will add an additional tour date to its "Born Pink" world tour, the group's label YG Entertainment announced Friday.
The decision was made after tickets for the tour's Mexico concert, scheduled to take place on April 26, were completely sold out. Blackpink will perform one more day for its fans on April 27 in Mexico City.
The concert in Mexico City will be held at the Foro Sol stadium, making Blackpink the first K-pop girl group to perform at the venue. Major pop acts such as Coldplay, One Direction and Justin Bieber have previously performed there.
Blackpink is also set to headline the Coachella Music and Arts Festival in April and the Hyde Park British Summer Time Festival in July.
